At the Serravalle facility, 100% of brake motors are produced, and components for standard motors without brakes are processed, which are then shipped to foreign branches for final assembly.

Motori Elettrici facilities in various parts of the world have warehouses with a wide range of brake motor types manufactured in Serravalle Pistoiese and assembly centers where standard motors with components from Italy are assembled and tested to meet the demands of local customers. This ensures the flexibility required to meet customer needs.
M.G.M motors are used in industrial plants and machinery across various sectors, including packaging, food industry, lifting and handling equipment, automotive, theatrical movements, and wind generators. Much of what we find in any AC brake motor today was developed in the laboratories of M.G.M. Motori Elettrici.
Since 2008, the average energy consumption of M.G.M Motori Elettrici products has steadily decreased. All single-speed motors are available with energy efficiency levels compliant with the new European regulations. Brake electromagnets, both AC in the BA series and DC in the BM series, are undergoing improvements to reduce energy consumption and increase performance.

The climate control system is supported by a geothermal system, and plastic consumption has been minimized.
Furthermore by rethinking and redesigning materials and the production process, the company
has reduced the consumption of drinking water and the energy required for manufacturing brake motors, resulting in a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
In this spirit, the existing photovoltaic system has recently been expanded, which previously covered 100% of the energy needs for both the factory and offices. This will meet the increased energy demand due to the transition of the company’s vehicle fleet from combustion engines to electric ones.
